If you need a day off the water there are many activities nearby or elsewhere on the Island. In Seaview itself there is a Sports Club and a short drive away is a swimming pool, ten-pin bowling and horse riding.

For children there is a nearby park with swings and roundabouts and a Wlidlife Encounter - penguin feeding is twice a day.

Sightseers can visit Brading Roman Villa, Carisbrooke Castle and Osborne House with The Needles at the other end of the Island.
